i was wearing my fresh prince shirt and my friend just said ‘don’t move’ and took this photo
I am biased against this because I used to be the smart kid but I do not find this to be funny at all. When I “finally” failed a test, all of my classmates except for my one best friend were making a huge deal out of it. They acted as though it was something unthinkable. They were looking at me as if I had grown another head. It made me feel like I wasn’t allowed to get a bad grade. I had to be perfect, or else I was weird. In the end, I was so stressed because of the pressure I even considered commiting suicide. It wasn’t pressure from my parents, they were okay with it. It was from my classmates who couldn’t grasp the fact I was only human.
So please, I’m begging you, if you have this smart classmate and they fail a test, do NOT laugh at them, do NOT insult them, do NOT make a big deal out of it. We’re all humans, we all make mistakes—don’t take this entitlement away from us.
this has happened to me before. i had to leave the classroom before i could start crying. please don’t ever ever ever do this. the “smart” student is probably one that is so hard on themselves, it’s awful. they’re already violently berating themselves in their head, why make it worse?
Friendly reminder that the 2nd biggest movie in Germany is about 3 homosexuals in space. The 1st is about 3 homosexuals in the desert.
still my favourite movies with my favourite actors of all time
I find this really funny
remember when everyone reffered to dangan ronpa by everything else than dangan ronpa
Do you hate yourself?
Most people live their entire lives without ever experiencing a moment of the kind of happiness this dog is feeling.
i saw a guy wearing a scouting legion jacket at church
you’d be praying too if all your friends died
Alright, here’s something funny. These boys in my hall went outside in their undies to take some photos in the snow. Funny, right? They’re trying to get attention and it’s hilarious. Us ladies choose to do the same, we are wearing more clothing, and are doing the exact same poses. We are wearing as much clothing as is acceptable at the pool or the beach, at the gym, etc.
There is a serious double standard here— us girls have gotten responses like:
"What’s the point of being half naked?"
"*ahem* sluts *ahem*"
"What’s wrong with you females?"
Or worse, what my mother said. Her initial shock was apparently because she thought I was in my underwear, but when I told her I was in a swimsuit, she was suddenly happy I was having fun in college.
The idea here is that we are doing the same thing. When arguing this point with one of my hallmates, he said “But men’s bodies aren’t built the same, you don’t see girls getting pumped up over a topless guy, but how many guys do you think are gonna get all crazy over a topless girl?” Seriously? Really? Women don’t need to dress in order to avoid a reaction from men. You’re mad because you can’t control yourself? Men can pose in their undies in the snow without an issue because women aren’t going to go wild over it? Keep it in your pants, that’s your responsibility, not ours.
The double standards are killin’ me.
"Keep it in your pants, that’s your responsibility, not ours." Is literally one of the best quotes I’ve ever heard. Thank you.
#the animation on the pillow shifting….#one thing about miyazakis films i cant help but adore is how difficult he makes it#theres no logical reason WHY a pillow HAS to be so intricately designed to make it more of a pain to animate shifting#but thats how it is and they do it anyway #i love it #i love it so much
I FEEL U FRIEND I FEEL YOU
